Einweihung Sekundarschulgebäude

The International School of Schaffhausen invites parents, friends and the community of Schaffhausen to celebrate the inauguration of the new secondary school building and the extension of the ISSH Campus.

Programme:
13:30-15:30 Uhr
Open Class Rooms ISSH opens the classroom doors to the public to show the school in working. The primary classes will be working on their current units of inquiry which form the heart of the IB primary curriculum. The secondary classes follow their regular timetable. Visitors can attend courses in German on various levels, Science, Art, Biology, English, and Theory of Knowledge. Visitors are also invited to see the new library and media centre. 14:00 and 14:30 Uhr
Guided Tours
Guided tours are offered to visitors who are new to the school and the ISSH learning concept. (Meeting point: Main entrance of the Logierhaus)

15:45 Uhr
Official Opening of the ISSH Secondary School Follow the sound of the Alphorn to the location of the inauguration ceremony. The following speakers will address the community and guests
- Richard Sommer, president of the ISSH Foundation
- Dr Erhard Meister, president of the ISSH Board and member of the building committee - Gundula Kohlhaas, head of school The ISSH secondary school students will lead the inauguration ceremony.

House-warming party - Let’s celebrate! Apéro for visitors and members of the ISSH community Workshop for adults and children: Swiss traditional music to enjoy and try-out Activity programme for children, organised by the secondary students
